Peel & Stick has the simplest application and is a great choice for quick updates, apartments and rentals. Prepasted is easy to hang and very easy to remove, and it’s our recommended choice for bathrooms and humid climates. French Luxe has a canvas texture and needs professional installation. For commercial projects, we recommend Prepasted or French Luxe.

Peel & Stick
Peel & Stick has the simplest application: peel away the backing, stick a panel to the wall, line up the next panel, and repeat. It’s a great choice for quick, easy room updates, especially in apartments and rentals. Apply it to a flat, smooth, non-textured wall. No water or separate paste is needed.
Our Peel & Stick installation guide walks through wall preparation, panel alignment, and smoothing.
Prepasted
If prepasted wallpaper brings back memories of a difficult project in the ’90s, ours is much friendlier to work with. This smooth paper is easy to hang and very easy to remove when you’re ready for a change. Water activates the adhesive, so there’s no separate paste to apply.
We prefer the quality of Prepasted to Peel & Stick vinyl. It’s also our recommended choice for bathrooms and homes in humid climates.
Follow our Prepasted installation guide for water activation and hanging instructions.
French Luxe
French Luxe is our canvas-textured fabric, sourced from France. It needs separate wallpaper paste, which is not included, and professional installation.
Panels include an extra inch for a double-cut seam: the installer overlaps and trims the panels to create a seam without an overlap. Discuss wall preparation and adhesive with your installer before ordering.
Which material suits your project?
Renting or planning a change
For a quick update in an apartment or rental, Peel & Stick is an easy option. Prepasted is also very easy to remove when you’re ready for a change. Check your lease and talk to us if you have questions about your paint or wall finish. If you are considering Peel & Stick, test a sample on your wall before ordering a full mural.
Textured or uneven walls
Peel & Stick is intended for smooth, non-textured walls. For an uneven surface, talk to us and your installer about preparation and whether French Luxe is suitable for your wall.
Bathrooms and humid climates
For bathrooms and homes in humid climates, we recommend Prepasted over Peel & Stick vinyl. Talk to us about areas exposed to splashes or direct water so we can help you choose for your room.
Commercial projects
For commercial projects, we recommend Prepasted or French Luxe. Contact us if you’d like help choosing the right material for your space.
